Spot colours are a special premixed ink that requires a separate print station. A process colour uses the four standard process inks to achieve the colour needed. The four colours used are Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black. (CMYK). Keep in my that using spot colours will increase the cost of your labels, especially for smaller quantities. If you would like to have spot colours, please fill a custom quote here to send us all your information. You can also attach your artwork.
The size of the core your labels are rolled on is 3”

MATERIAL
All our products have a permanent glue. It is possible that when removing the label that there will be a residue. The longer the label is applied the more permanent it will be.
Using labels or stickers is a good way of covering up existing labels. However, our materials are not opaque. If you would like an opaque material, please fill a custom quote here to send us all your information.
Yes, we strongly suggest using markers and ball point pens. Also giving the ink time to dry is the best way to make sure there are no blemishes.
ARTWORK
The best way to set up your file is by using illustrator or photoshop. Please add .125” on all sides of your file or .25” in height and width to your page size. This will give us enough space to add the bleed to your file.
We suggest using a rich black or deep black when using black in your file. Achieving a rich black is simple. Just use this formula Cyan – 30 Magenta – 30 Yellow – 20 Black -100.
The best way to match colours is to use Pantone colours in your file. When printing Pantones we can get very close to the Pantone colour. It is very likely that the colours will not be exactly like the Pantones chosen. However, we do our best to get the colour as close to the Pantones as possible. If you have Pantone colours in your file, please contact us at [email protected] to send us all your information.
If you have a file that has Pantones we will automatically convert them to CMYK. When converting Pantones to CMYK it is likely that colours will change. Some more than others.
All RGB files will be converted to CMYK if not done before. This will cause some colours to change.
